Welcome to Koni Zavod, the Pedigree Assignment side of my collection. Here you'll find my models I have available for "breeding". Any mentions of real horses (denoted with a "®") are just for reference. If you don't yet know what Pedigree Assignment is, the International Pedigree Assignment and Bloodline Research Association (IPABRA) has this nice article up.
My models' pedigrees trace back to real horses, or in rare cases to historical model lines. An exception to this are my models of semiferal and feral breeds, which in some cases "dead-end" to unknowns, just like those breeds do in real life too. My moniker for pedigree assignment and board racing purposes is Koni Zavod, a jocular misspelling of the Russian term for horse breeding farm, konnyi zavod, with koni (my native Finnish for "nag") from my studio nickname Koni Miniatures. I don't issue certificates for breedings, but will instead give out extensive parent pedigrees rich in information, race & show records and ancestor photo galleries, from which you can compile a pedigree for your own foal in as little or much detail as you like.
How to request a breeding?
Email to l . k . magga (at) gmail dot com or message me on FB. Any breeding done without my prior approval is null.
I'll need from you the following info:
Foal's name:
Year foaled (please specify an alternate year in case your preferred is taken):
Colt or filly:
Breed:
Colour including white pattern if any (feel free to specify zygosity):
Sire requested:
Dam requested:
Owner name & optionally PA moniker/webpage:
Foal's model & photo if any:
If either parent you'd like for your foal is a model owned by a PA hobbyist who's neither me nor you, please contact them for approval or forward me their contact info so I can confirm they've agreed to the breeding. If you're not sure what parents might make a good match, what breed a certain combination might make, or what colours are possible, etc., I'm happy to "talk shop" and help if I can.
Have fun planning! -L.K. Magga / Koni Miniatures
